Mohonasen hasn't had much luck against Columbia recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Mohonasen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Mohonasen took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They never let Schenectady get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Will Quinn was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Hunter Stevens was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Mohonasen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Columbia rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans, sneaking past 2-1.
Matthew Burek looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Columbia is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 6-10 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ascher Melino, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.
The victory got Columbia back to even at 10-10. As for Mohonasen, their record now sits at 16-1.
Columbia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mohonasen hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. It's a different story for Columbia, though, as they've only averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Mohonasen's hitters?
Mohonasen suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Columbia in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
