Franklin Learning Center's loss came despite strong showings from Makiyah Brunson and Kayla Sterling. Brunson scored ten points, while Sterling scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sterling has scored all season.
Franklin Learning Center's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for String Theory, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Learning Center will face off against Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Parkway West is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for String Theory, they will head out on the road to challenge MAST Charter II at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
