Zach Rogozik Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Zach Rogozik produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hart to the win on Thursday. Rogozik rushed for 197 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. His longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards.
The victory (which was Hart's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Rogozik and Hart will host Valencia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brian Bonner Goes Supernova in Valencia Victory
Valencia picked up their third consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Brian Bonner. Bonner did his part (and then some), rushing for 83 yards and four touchdowns, while also picking up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
For the year, Bonner has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 48.4 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 17.

Khanai Langford Delivers Best Effort of Season
Castaic was led to victory by Khanai Langford, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Langford threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns.
Castaic moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Langford's next matchup is against Saugus on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Deperno Came Up Big in West Ranch's 42-28 Defeat
Luke Deperno's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his third-straight game with 169+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown, and also caught two touchdowns.
Castaic had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Deperno it was a similar story. Deperno rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry the last time he and the Coyotes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jamison Torres Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Jamison Torres of Golden Valley. Torres rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
On the season, Torres has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 22.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.
