 On Encinal's side,  Mateo McMinn looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. McMinn has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Encinal got a  massive  performance out of  Evan Furuichi, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.  Anthony Wilson was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Las Lomas now  has a losing record at 9-10. As for Encinal, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record  this season.
 Las Lomas will be playing in front of their home fans against Berean Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Berean Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so Las Lomas' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Encinal, they will be playing at home against San Lorenzo at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Encinal will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak  alive.
