The Fowler Redcats can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Riverdale at home to the tune of 59-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fowler has posted since December 12, 2023.
Despite the defeat, Riverdale saw an underclassman step up: Valeria Olguin scored 12 points.
Fowler's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. As for Riverdale, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fowler will play host again and welcome Yosemite, where tip off is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Yosemite focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Riverdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty and Riverdale are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
