The Lititz Christian Eagles came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 38-14 margin over York Country Day. The victory was just what Lititz Christian needed coming off of a 52-32 defeat in their prior matchup.
Afton Urquhart was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Najya Vega, who scored two points along with seven steals and two blocks.
Lititz Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for York Country Day, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Lititz Christian will face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for York Country Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
