Segerstrom won the last time they faced Calvary Chapel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Segerstrom Jaguars were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over the Calvary Chapel Eagles. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Segerstrom's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stephanie Valenciano, who went 9 of 18 on her way to 21 points in addition to six boards and six steals. That's the most points Valenciano has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Claudia Solis, who went 10 for 18 en route to 26 points and seven steals.

Segerstrom has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Calvary Chapel, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Segerstrom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-45 win against Valencia on the 23rd. As for Calvary Chapel, they will head out to face off against Buena Park at 5:00 p.m. on January 28th. Buena Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.4 points per game this season.
