The Freedom Falcons earned  a  7-2 victory over the Tesoro Titans  on Tuesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Falcons.

 Colton Vick was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Freedom is 5-1 when  Vick allows two or  fewer  earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Vick was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Andrew Borrego was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. Those  four  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Emmons, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Freedom pushed their record up to 7-5 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Tesoro, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
 Freedom and Tesoro could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 384th) will meet Vacaville (ranked 156th)  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile,  Tesoro will  take on  Castro Valley  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday with a big rank  disadvantage  (533 vs. 152).
