The Ramona Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 38-30 victory over San Pasqual. The win was just what Ramona needed coming off of a 76-34 loss in their prior game.
Among those leading the charge was Kailee Weddle, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Krystian Pierre, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Ramona's win ended a 12-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15. As for San Pasqual, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-14.
Ramona will be playing at home against Escondido at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Pasqual, they will head out on the road to square off against Valley Center at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
