Jake Paskert made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Paskert wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Toby Torres, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Torres has posted since back in May of 2024. Piedmont Hills hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
