The Canton Warriors waltzed into their contest Wednesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 46-33 win over Cowanesque Valley. That's another feather in the cap for Canton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Canton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendall Kitchen out in front who scored 15 points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daveian Crowley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Canton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. As for Cowanesque Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sayre the next time they take the court. Canton will host Sayre at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cowanesque Valley will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
