Eaton got themselves on the board against Peak to Peak on Friday, but Peak to Peak never followed suit. They blew past the Pumas 17-0. The Reds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pumas, too.

Bria Foster made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Foster was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Eaton got a massive performance out of Emma Anderson, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Paige Hofer, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Eaton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.

The victory got Eaton back to even at 1-1. As for Peak to Peak, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Eaton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-1 win against Lamar on the 22nd. As for Peak to Peak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against La Junta on the 23rd.
