Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North East). They enjoyed a cozy 69-54 victory over the Lakeview Sailors on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grape Pickers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

North East's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lakeview, they moved to 4-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

North East will host Cathedral Prep at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Lakeview, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Iroquois at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeview is facing Iroquois at the right time seeing as Iroquois is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
