Softball Recap: Blue Springs South Wins Going Away Against Staley

Blue Springs South won the last time they faced Staley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Kyndall Armstrong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on zero hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kaitlyn Gillen was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Ireland Hart, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Blue Springs South kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
