On Thursday, Beacon Hill ended up a good deal behind Glendale Adventist and lost 39-23. Beacon Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Glendale Adventist to victory were Jazmine Climaco and Jazmin Wong. Climaco scored eight points along with nine steals, while Wong scored 12 points along with nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wong has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Escudero, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Beacon Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glendale Adventist, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Hillcrest Christian the next time they take the court. Glendale Adventist will head out to face Hillcrest Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Beacon Hill will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
