Make it 11 blowout wins for the St. Joseph Knights this season. They took their match at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 68-30 win over Arroyo Grande. The victory was nothing new for St. Joseph as they're now sitting on nine straight.
It was another big night for Avary Cain, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Oani, who scored 17 points along with four steals.
St. Joseph's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.1 points. As for Arroyo Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
St. Joseph will face off against the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (San Ramon Valley is ranked 13th, while the Knights are ranked 20th). As for Arroyo Grande, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Orcutt Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Friday.
