Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mt. Pleasant's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Silver Creek, falling 10-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Overfelt has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 10.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mt. Pleasant struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Overfelt came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
