Stagg was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against McNair on Wednesday. The Delta Kings' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Delta Kings have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Stagg saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Stagg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Stagg's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for McNair, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Stagg will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
