Loomis is 1-9 against Pleasanton since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Loomis Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Pleasanton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Loomis is ranked 170th, while Pleasanton is ranked 178th).
On Tuesday, Loomis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Axtell. Loomis has not had much luck with Axtell recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
In what's become a running theme this season, Pleasanton gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Central Valley 52-29. The victory was some much needed relief for Pleasanton as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Natalie Rasmussen continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Tyra Sekutera was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Loomis' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Pleasanton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
Loomis might still be hurting after the 65-40 loss they got from Pleasanton in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Loomis, Regan Weisdorfer (who scored 22 points along with seven steals and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
