This season hasn't been kind to the Ambridge Bridgers, who are still winless after their 14th game. They had to suffer through a rough 73-13 loss at the hands of Blackhawk. Ambridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-4.
Andrea Kinger was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with five assists and five steals for Blackhawk. Alena Fusetti was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Ambridge dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Blackhawk, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Quaker Valley the next time they take the court. Ambridge will head out to face the Quakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
