Jordan (Minn.) grabbed the lead when with under a minute left in the fifth quarter and held on to upset
Providence Academy (Plymouth, Minn.) 31-28 on Saturday. The score was the final lead change in a back-and-forth contest that featured two lead swaps.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown, the Lions went into halftime with a 22-14 lead. The Hubmen/Jaguars scored the winning points with a field goal that came in the fifth quarter.
Jordan looked to be in trouble when it trailed by 16 points before coming back to upset Providence Academy.
Nick Heitkamp played well for JHS in the victory. The senior wide receiver caught one touchdown.
Ryan Richelsen made a difference for PA. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns.
With the win the Hubmen/Jaguars extended their winning streak to three games.
