The Carmel Padres lost against the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Carmel's tough 5-2 defeat to Pajaro Valley might stick with them for a while. Carmel has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anna Rasmussen did their best for Carmel and scored both of Carmel's goals. The pair have combined for a total of four so far this season.
Carmel's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10-2. As for Pajaro Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-3.
Carmel will be playing in front of their home fans against Soledad at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Soledad's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pajaro Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Monte Vista Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
