Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Karns City walked away with it. They walked away with a 44-31 victory over the Ellwood City Wolverine on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Gremlins as they're now sitting on three straight.

When it comes to explaining why Ellwood City lost, don't look at Delaney Sturgeon. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points and five boards.

Karns City's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Ellwood City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-11.

As of now, neither Karns City nor Ellwood City have any future games scheduled.
