Rivers is the No. 3 player in his class in Alabama and No. 8 nationally among 2027 quarterbacks
according to 247Sports. As seen in highlights, he can make all the throws and excels on the run.
Philip Rivers played for his father, Steve, at
Athens (Ala.). In the NFL, Philip was an eight-time Pro Bowler who threw for 63,400 yards and 421 touchdowns primarily for the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. He was the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2013.
Gunner Rivers isn't the only sibling playing for St. Michael Catholic as
Grace Rivers played basketball for the Cardinals last season as a junior.
