For Exeter-West Greenwich's part, Tyler Medeiros was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Medeiros was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Exeter-West Greenwich got a massive performance out of Ethan Koczwanski, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Kole Kilduff was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
The victory got Exeter-West Greenwich back to even at 1-1.
