Workman and Nogales are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Workman Lobos will head out on the road to challenge the Nogales Nobles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Workman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Workman suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Sierra Vista 73-22. Workman has not had much luck with Sierra Vista recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Nogales can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 40-33 win over Azusa.
Workman bumped their record down to 3-16 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Nogales, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
Workman was dealt a bruising 68-23 defeat at the hands of Nogales when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Workman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
