The Plumas Charter Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Burney Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Burney took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Plumas Charter, who comes in off a win.
Plumas Charter lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hamilton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Warriors put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 15-3 victory on Tuesday. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.
Jhett Neer made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Neer was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March.

In other batting news, Owen Joseph was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Patterson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Burney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-11 to Chester.
Burney saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Fields, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
The victory snapped Plumas Charter's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record. As for Burney, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Plumas Charter has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Burney struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Plumas Charter was able to grind out a solid win over Burney when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 4-0. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
