If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Mankato West. On Friday they take on Faribault at 7:00 PM. The two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
Last Friday, Mankato West secured a 33-28 W over Austin.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing zero points in their last match, Faribault made sure to put some points up on the board against Red Wing. Faribault put a hurting on Red Wing to the tune of 49-6. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-6.
Mankato West simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Faribault 62-6. Will Mankato West repeat their success, or does Faribault have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
