Franklin County has been on the road for six straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Mosley Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Franklin County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
On Monday, Franklin County was the victim of a tough 69-43 loss at the hands of Lincoln. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Franklin County has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Franklin County had strong showings from Ethan Kembro, who scored 17 points along with five blocks, and Sadiq Jones, who scored seven points. Kembro set a new season high mark in blocks with five.
Franklin County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Mosley waltzed into Friday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 49-40 win over Rutherford. Given Mosley's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Rutherford is ranked 516th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Franklin County's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Mosley, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Everything went Franklin County's way against Mosley in their previous matchup back in January as Franklin County made off with a 68-48 win. Will Franklin County repeat their success, or does Mosley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
