Baseball Recap: Greenbrier Extends Winning Streak to Three

Greenbrier extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 5-1. They came out on top against the Grovetown Warriors by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 two weeks ago.

As for Grovetown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Grovetown's part, Coby Eckert put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Eckert has allowed since back in February of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Greenbrier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-9 win against Richmond Hill on the 25th. As for Grovetown, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Lakeside on the 25th.
