Rancho Mirage has not had much luck with Shadow Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Shadow Hills was led to victory by Analiah Cardona and Victoria Hyatt. Cardona scored 26 points, while Hyatt scored 20 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Hyatt is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Genesis Huerta, who scored 14 points.
Rancho Mirage's loss was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-15. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.4 points per game. As for Shadow Hills, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
Rancho Mirage will head out on the road to challenge Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Springs is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Shadow Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against La Quinta at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully La Quinta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
