Eastside. He picked up one win and nine strikeouts.
The Eagles outperformed the rest of the league this week, as their four total wins led the league. Eastside beat
Monroe Area 4-1,
Madison County 15-2 and the Hurricanes 8-4.
The Eagles' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 26 hits and 11 walks, both of which led the league.
There were three hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was Musashi Briem, who hit .600 by going 6-for-10.
The week's strikeout crown belonged to Garrett, who turned in nine Ks for Eastside. He's second in the league with 24 total strikeouts.
Garrett led the Eagles to a win on March 19, as he notched nine strikeouts to beat the Red Raiders, 4-2. He gave up eight hits and two runs over seven innings of work.
Drew Buckhault drove in four runners on Wednesday in Eastside's 15-2 victory over Madison County. He went 2-for-4.
