The Placer Hillmen fell victim to the West Park Panthers's stalwart defense on Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Placer has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Placer's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-3. As for West Park, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-3.
Placer will head out on the road to take on Nevada Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Placer's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for West Park, they will be playing at home against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Park is coming into the matchup with four straight victories at home, meaning Lincoln will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
