Selinsgrove's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Erika Piepszowski, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals. Natalie Howell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Selinsgrove's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bloomsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Selinsgrove will be playing at home against Jersey Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Jersey Shore focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday. Bloomsburg won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Holy Redeemer at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Allowing an average of 51 points per game, Holy Redeemer has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game.
