Lund lost against Round Mountain on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Lund ultimately came up short, they really made Round Mountain work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18.

Lund's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Round Mountain, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Round Mountain will square off against Eureka at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Lund will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' matchup: after the Knights face off against the Vandals, they'll take on Lund again at 4:00 p.m. on September 9.
