Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Century). They breezed by the Newberg Tigers to the tune of 69-33 on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Centurions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1286th in California, while the Tigers are ranked 100th in Oregon).

Century moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Newberg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
