Little Chute had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Denmark on Tuesday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 12-5 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Little Chute, bringing their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Denmark, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Little Chute will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
