The Dougherty Valley Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 56-17 victory over Livermore. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Dougherty Valley as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Livermore's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylinn Pacheco, who scored nine points.
Dougherty Valley's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Livermore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dougherty Valley the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Amador Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Amador Valley is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Livermore, they will be playing at home against Arroyo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Arroyo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Thursday.
