The Don Lugo Conquistadores will head out on the road to face off against the Charter Oak Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Lugo is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Don Lugo, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-33 loss to Diamond Ranch.
Despite the defeat, Don Lugo had strong showings from Sarah Magadan, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Belen Perez, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. Magadan scored a full 54.5% of Don Lugo's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Charter Oak took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-16 win over Workman.
The losses dropped Don Lugo to 2-3 and Diamond Ranch to 3-3.
Don Lugo couldn't quite finish off Charter Oak in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 and fell 42-39. Can Don Lugo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
