Amari Clemons Dazzles in Marianna Win
Amari Clemons was instrumental in extending Marianna's winning streak to eight on Friday. Clemons was unstoppable, rushing for 198 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Clemons might have his next game, a home matchup with Holmes County, circled on his calendar. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Clemons saw the Blue Devils), he rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry.

Rj Mayes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marianna to the win on Friday. Mayes threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
This year, Mayes has thrown 16 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 161.1 passing yards per game.

Reed Came Up Big in Rutherford's 53-0 Win
Jaleel Reed was a major factor in Rutherford's win over North Bay Haven Academy on Friday. Nobody could stop Reed as he threw for 88 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
The victory made it two in a row for Rutherford and bumps their season record up to 2-6. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
