The Parkway West HOYAS had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 39-23 fall against Roxborough on Thursday. Parkway West has not had much luck with Roxborough recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Parkway West still got an impressive performance from Namira Bryant, who scored 14 points.
Parkway West's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Roxborough, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Parkway West will head out on the road to face off against Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Carver High School of Engineering & Science focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday. As for Roxborough, they will be playing at home against Girard Academic Music Program at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
