The Overfelt Royals lost against the Prospect Panthers back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Overfelt was outmatched by Prospect on the road and fell 61-11. Overfelt has struggled against Prospect recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Prospect's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sadie Slaughter led the charge by scoring 10 points. Anbrielle Joan Mangoba was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Overfelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prospect, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Overfelt will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Prospect, they will face off against Pioneer at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
