On Friday Denfeld take on Hibbing at 6:00 PM. Denfeld are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
If Denfeld were riding high off their 36-11 takedown of Proctor two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Denfeld didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 16-22 to North Branch last Friday.
Meanwhile, we expected Hibbing to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Hermantown, and they did. Hibbing ended up on the wrong side of a painful 8-39 walloping at Hermantown's hands. This makes it the second loss in a row for Hibbing.
