Hawken extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 19-7. They blew past the Beachwood Bison 8-2. Considering the Hawks have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cole Twardokus made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Twardokus was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Patrick Murphy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ethan Gipson, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Beachwood, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 13-8 record. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Beachwood's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb White, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Hawken will face off against Benedictine at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beachwood, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-6 victory against Wickliffe on the 18th.
