Given Northern Lebanon's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Brandywine Heights Area is ranked 375th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Brandywine Heights Area lost, one person who can't be blamed is Addison Benner. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points.
Northern Lebanon pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Brandywine Heights Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
Northern Lebanon will look to defend their home court on Monday against Warwick at 7:30 p.m. Warwick is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Kutztown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Kutztown comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
