Argyle has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Corinth Riverhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Argyle comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Wednesday, Argyle lost to Salem at home by a decisive 41-25 margin.
Meanwhile, Corinth scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Granville by a score of 45-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Corinth.
Argyle bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Corinth, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Argyle was taken down by Corinth 60-20 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Argyle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
