The York Dukes will face off against the Lane Tech Champions at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
While York's victory against IC Catholic Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dukes skirted past the Knights 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dukes.

Jaiden Shah looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Will Bute, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Nathan Patterson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
York hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, while Lane Tech put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Payton College Prep. The Champions blew past the Grizzlies 18-0. Considering the Champions have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Alex Delaney looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Zolan Wyatt and Conor Sullivan did most of the damage at the plate: Wyatt went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Sullivan went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Aguiniga, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for York, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
