Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Holcomb, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Tobias Mahomes was another, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Glynn Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
