Last Wednesday, Cambria Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Rockwood, taking the game 56-43.
It was another big night for Sienna Kirsch, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Cambria Heights' points. Kinley Rogal was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 51-24, which was the final score in Moshannon Valley's tilt against Northern Bedford County on Wednesday. Moshannon Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-4.
Cambria Heights' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Moshannon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
