Willows posted their biggest win since December 21, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Live Oak as Willows made off with a 47-27 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Willows has posted against Live Oak since February 5, 2019.
Among those leading the charge was Kyleigh Goppert, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that she pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karla Sandoval DiMaggio, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Paradise's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of East Nicolaus by a score of 47-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Paradise has suffered yet this season.
Nyah Baker put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 23 points. That was a full 51.1% of Paradise's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Olivia Azevedo was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Willows' win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Paradise, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9.
